I’m a homebody at heart, but love a good adventure. My interests change on the regular, but typically involve crafting, baking, or building. I am an INFP-A personality type, love snuggling with my littles and our fur babes, and enjoy a good fantastical read every now and then.

I married in 2016. Three kids followed shortly after. We also have three dogs (Katja, Slip, & Oona pictured above) and a plethora of chickens taking residence on our property. I spend most of my days chasing the kids around, tripping over the dogs and working on my business. The kids are a pretty good mix of my husband and me. They love the outdoors like my husband and enjoy art like mom. Fun fact: my 2 year old daughter made the watercolor painting on my website.

I was born in South Korea, adopted & raised in Southern Indiana & have been creating for as long as I can remember. My first film camera, a 35mm Vivitar, was gifted from my dad Sophomore year of high school which sparked my love for photography. I graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelors of Fine Arts, minored in Business and Art History, and interned at the International Center of Photography.

I wasn’t always sure that photography was going to be my chosen path because I have had so many different artistic passions throughout the years. However, the way photography allows me to connect with people, translate emotion, and document my own personal history has kept my camera close by my side and a consistent focus of mine. It’s the craft I choose to continuously practice and invest in & it’s how I capsulize my family’s priceless memories, so I know for certain that it will be a part of my creative journey for the rest of my life.

I have continued my photo education through online courses from some amazing photographers including Katelyn James (Lighting & Location), Joel Grimes, & Kelly Brown (Baby Safety & Posing for Newborn Photographers).
